Best Time to Visit - Munnar, Kerala
The best time to visit Munnar is between October and May, when the rains are not a continual deluge. Don't visit during the monsoon months that fall between June and September as you are guaranteed of getting thoroughly wet. Keep an umbrella handy all through the year though.
It is recommended to take along a good number of woollens if visiting Munnar especially during the winter season. Multiple layers of clothing also helps. In the summers, a light sweater would be enough to keep away the evening chill however. Lots of woolen shops can also be found in the central town area.
The weather in Munnar is pleasant most of the year. Summers (April-June) are mild, while winters (November-February) are cool. It experiences heavy southwestern monsoon rains in June-August.
